My daughter is awesome.

That's it. Just awesome. It's amazing when you think about it. How such an amazing little person was simply created. Poof! Here she is. Crazy. My family is coming over to visit her today. More updates as events warrant.

Here are today's pictures!

Gabby's first bath at home

Last night, amongst all the hullabaloo of having most of Basia's immediate family visiting Gabby, Gabby had her first bath!

I think I saw a smile!

Last night, during what turned out to be a marathon feeding session, I think I saw Gabby smile. She has two dimples to go along with her chin dimple and the most beautiful glow!

We went to the pediatrician this morning for Gabby's first visit. The pediatrician was really nice and we liked him. Gabby's gained back 5 oz. in the three days since she left the hospital. Not bad! Her head and weight are in the 25th percentile, but her length is in the 96th! She's going to be a beautiful tall piano playing scientist with runaway model looks!

See today's photos.

Unbelievable. So precious. My daughter is beautiful.

Here are some pictures from her first few days:

On January 23, 2005, my daughter Gabriella Rose Cohen entered this world. She was born at Brigham and Women's hospital on January 23, 2005. Her length was 20 3/4 in. long, and weight was 6 lbs. 14 oz.

Her birthstory has been removed for reasons of self preservation.

Thanks to everyone who provided advice, support, love and laughter throughout Basia's pregnancy and over the past few days. I hope you all understand that we've been a bit beat, but really appreciate all the calls and emails - even if we haven't been able to return the call/message yet.

Stay tuned for more updates and watch as g.rose grows!!!
